My name is Ricc (yes with two c’s) and I am honored to get to know you – no matter who you are, where you are or what you believe.  Let me begin by giving you a snap shot into who I am.  First, I love following Jesus, being a husband to my wife Jenn, and a dad to my four kids.  These are the most important things to me. 

Second, I am a pastor of a pretty small church in Central Florida (thus the title of this blog – the adventures of a small church pastor).  I never thought I would say this but I love reading books, creating graphic art, restoring my old farm truck, going to movies, and creating community.

As I begin this journey it’s important for me to let you know the mission of this blog.  It’s purpose is to create community by sharing my life, my struggles, my joys and my learnings with you in hopes that you might share yours with me.  We have so much to learn from one another.  I hope to share with you what I am learning about God, marriage, family and church in hopes that it might help you or encourage you in your life.

My biggest dream for this blog truly is to create a diverse community of people from all walks of life who come together to build each other up. To become a community that learns from one another, challenges one another, cares for one another, and accepts one another.   I hope that you feel welcomed, accepted, and loved here.  I say it all the time…we are better together!  You are welcome on the front porch of my life.  Come sit for a spell.   I can’t wait to meet you!
